Who has put money into this? Did you go through your favorite brokerage or maybe ARKVX. I'm committed to a degree through a brokerage but not more than my age.
Peace for Ukraine!

We were able to access this for Qualified clients in three rounds at a 350 billion, 400 billion and 800 billion valuation. We also got an opportunity to invest in xai which is now apart of SpaceX at a 113 billion valuation.

We are proud to offer our clients access to pre-IPO companies like this.

We've also invested in Anthropic, OpenAI, Whoop, Stripe and more.

I haven't seen anything about how many shares they plan to issue against that valuation. Raising $175B against a $1.75T valuation isn't that interesting for me until after the lockup expires. This one is looking to be substantially larger than the Aramco IPO, and there is a real risk that the market can't absorb enough to allow meaningful float. This can work out if you can get an allocation and sell it into the day one mania. You can always buy back in later after the float increases due to lockup expiry.

ETA: I really want to see the public S-1 to see how much revenue and profit Starlink is generating. If that business can generate cash to fund xAI, that gives it a big advantage over peers like OpenAI or Anthropic who are looking to IPO because they've exhausted the private market's willingness to invest.

Reading today that it's looking for a 2 trillion dollar valuation now. We'll see if that comes to fruition of course.

Pushing the valuation with a 30% allocation to retail could be a sign that QIB or IAI demand isn't there at that value. That's not a good thing for retail investors imo.
