If anyone has one, I need a recommendation for an attorney in Bowie County to discuss an issue with an unsettled estate with two direct descendants that have passed away and multiple open Medicaid recoveries. This is related to an active suit, and I need advice as a named defendant. I've received a referral from the state bar, but I'm not overly happy with the fact that he is a very much a generalist in practice.

Thanks for the recs. I didn't have a specific name of an attorney at the time, but Ross & Shoalmire passed on the case due to the complexity.

I would look at law firms in Shreveport. Many lawyers in that area are licensed to practice in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana (or at least 2 of 3). I-49 has cut the travel time down considerably.

I would also take a look at firms in Tyler.
