I'll add: Chennedy has to lead the team to a better seed. She showed so much growth last year and has had another year to build chemistry with the team and the coaches. And to work with her fellow players to develop the kind of cohesion that makes it impossible to merely isolate Carter.

Looking back, we all knew given her talent that everyone had to put aside all distractions for them to succeed in big ways as a team. Sometimes it's tempting to look at transformative talent and proclaim the talent has to accommodate. But that cannot be the whole answer as we have seen when she puts the team in her back.

I suspect that is wearing and even when satisfying it spends her political capital with her teammates to take over a game. They also have to help rebuild that capital so she gets lifted as it were on the wings of fellow eagles.

I'm so excited about this year. Can't wait for tip-off!!!

It's consistent with the SEC writers picking S. Carolina over us to win the conference (which surprised me). If we don't win the SEC a 1 or a 2 is a stretch.
