Geno plans to appeal.

Of course Geno plans to appeal (sarcasm). I don't see how they can even grant it when several players have to sit out every year after transferring.

I can see it going either way because how the NCAA makes these decisions is mysterious and unpredictable.

The interesting part about Geno's appeal that I forgot to include in the OP is that UConn is arguing that Westbrook deserves to play right away because of how she was treated at Tennessee.



UT and UConn resume their rivalry in January. There are LV fans who still hate Geno over the fights with Pat Summitt. This seems like gasoline on whatever embers are still smoldering .
