South Carolina a perfect 6 of 6 from the free throw line, Ags only 2 of 4 and the Ags have 5 turnovers to 1 for South Carolina. Herrigan has 15 of Carolina's 19 points.

Like to see Gary substituting early in this game, I wish he would do this more often. I especially like seeing Anna in to play at the post for defensive purposes, she seems to have gotten more physical as the year has gone on.

Fouls are going to kill the Ags: Johnson with 3, Wells and Jones with 2, none for South Carolina is in foul trouble. Shooting is abysmal 28%, while South Carolina is at 43.6 %.

Gary a little upset that fouls are not being called when Carter drives to the bucket, it's hard for me to tell if contact is being made on her or not.

Why don't we rebound on defense?
Why can't put posts catch the ball on a fast break?
Why do we throw lazy passes which turn into turnovers?
These are fundamental mistakes!!!

IMO...the only players on our team that have played better and are improved over last year, are Wilson, Jones
and Rael. The team has just not been developed to be better,

Perhaps in the category of sad, but true...I'll take that 8 pt loss at SC any day. Given how the team played against Alabama I was fearful this game was going to get completely out of control.

According to Charlie Creme, A&M is on the bubble for hosting 1st and 2nd round games.

Carolina 60-Texas A&M 52 Final. They closed some of the gap at least.

Team did not practice well prior to bama and did not show for bama game at home playing for a good seed in SEC tournament and to be a sub regional host...that speaks volumes re the team and coaching.

Personally not looking for 8 point losses with all the turnovers, not finishing shots, etc. Not a Dawn Staley fan, but she recruits and has her team ready to play without having to micro manage the game standing and barking out what to do on offense. Re our O, we play hesitant at times and don't look very smart re basketball IQ.

Sorry, but was looking for this experienced team to be more consistent, play smarter and show overall improvement. The coaches look frustrated. Not being on the inside, hard to know whether they feel they have not coached as well as needed, have not developed most of the players enough or just can't seem to get through to some of the players.

Blair seems to have his team ready in the conference tournaments, so perhaps things will improve some this coming week!

Defensively the team played well enough to win, but shooting percentage was 28% which I believe is the worst of the year for the team.
The team did seem out of sink on offense and Carter especially really rushed some shots where she had more time and as a result had multiple air balls which is unusual for her. As always too many missed layups many of which were not highly contested. I agree that the strength of the Aggies offensive game, the mid-range jumper was not and has not been there the last few games. Hopefully the team gets in the gym and starts hitting shots in practice and then transfers that to the game.
Also, N'dea has not had very good games offensively for the last 3 games and has seemed very frustrated.

Wish the Aggies best of luck at the SEC tournament.

I don't wanna be the #4 team in the SEC Tournament. I don't wanna all the way to SC to see them play once and then face SC again. I'd rather the #5 seed honestly so we don't have so long of a break.

From a preseason #5 or #7 to having to pray for Arky so we finish in top 4 of the SEC.
We can use the rest!

Did we have a big win vs a good team all year? Lost at UK, MSU and USC, Lost 2x to LSU.
Lost to Bama at home. Lost to FSU in Ft. Worth.

Guess win at Arky and at Bama were our best wins. We made a bad Auburn team look terrible at Reed.

The SEC schedule was not favorable for us and Carter was out for 3 of the losses.

The good news is everything can change in the SEC tournament and in The Big Dance!

if we are #5 on thursday we play the 12 or 13 whoever is winner
then in Friday the #4 which would be LSU
and Sat would be SC

prefer to take the byes and play winner of Ark 12/13
