tu has only lost one game - to the Ags. That win looks a little better with each passing week.

GB says the leadership and chemistry on this team is as good or better that ever.
He says the players like each other. Quite a feat with all the transfers and the competition for playing time.

We have the SEC schedule this year to win the SEC. We have UK, UT, MSU and USC ALL at Reed
with no trip to their place. I think if we beat UK and USC at home, we will win the SEC. We could likely lose a game, but have the tie breaker vs those two.. I fully expect to beat UT and MSU at Reed.. Going toArky will be tough and we dont play well at LSU.

The talent on this team is the best of any A&M team I've ever seen including the national championship team ... yes I said it.

I will say the overall depth this year, which is talented depth, appears to be a little better
than our 2011-12 NC team. Morris,. Zay Green and Pitts are all quality. McKenzie Green
can play too. After that, it drops off some....but the first nine are excellent to good.

Our NC team mainly had Mary Ann Baker as the 6th man. We had Skylar Collins, but she wasn't really developed yet....became a very good player the next two years.. Kelsey Assarian came in some to play D and mix it up under the boards. I think that was about it. Mary Ann was starter good, but the 5 ahead of her were really good, and of course DA was the best we have seen here in the low post.

I see a lot of Heart in the current team. Not to be confused with some misguided political thinking.

Mechelle Voepel of ESPN has the Aggies as her Team of the Week in her story January 11. She wrote this:

'The Aggies keep on rolling at 12-0 overall and 3-0 SEC, but they had their closest call yet Sunday at Arkansas, winning 74-73 on Jordan Nixon's layup with a second left. Aaliyah Wilson had 27 points and eight rebounds, while N'dea Jones had 12 and 14.
Thursday, the Aggies beat another ranked team in Kentucky, 77-60, with Nixon leading the way with 19 points.
The Aggies' depth is impressive; they have four players averaging in double figures, led by Wilson at 15.0 PPG, and then two more averaging over 9.0 PPG.
Texas A&M meets No. 14 Mississippi State next Sunday (noon, ESPN2). But then the Aggies aren't scheduled to face another ranked team until Feb. 14, when they have a rematch with Arkansas. And what is shaping up as the biggest game in SEC season -- the Aggies versus the Gamecocks -- is the regular-season finale on Feb. 28 at Texas A&M."
