Yeah...I'm not defending NET. Just pointing out something I didn't know: that it's being used in NCAA Div I WBB.

Thanks for posting the link. I was aware of it but had not read any details. Nothing all that informative in this link.
I think we are closer to the 7th best team based on the AP poll than 14th best from the net rankings.

I think we will end up as a two seed for the big dance. There are 13 SEC games left on our scheule.. Then the SEC tournament back in Greenville, SC and the NCAA with likely all 64 teams and all games to be played in San Antonio Sets up nice for us.p[articulary with UT in a makeup game, MSU and USC all coming to Reed. Plus Arky and LSU.in return games at Reed.

Today we're 14 (12-0) and Kentucky is 13 (9-3).

They need to adjust their algorithms.

Not sure how you come up with putting Kentucky ahead of us. We beat them 77-60. It was a home game for us but a 17 point margin is pretty strong.

Haven't looked at their schedule, maybe it's been tougher than ours to date.

they lost at DePaul, SC, and us, they beat Ark and Miss State in conference

they beat ranked Indiana, which is ranked ahead of us in this index poll. but they are 7-3

Again we beat ranked Depaul team, ranked sips, Ark., and also we beat them.

They've had 2 games postponed, we have 1 - both Tenn.

I guess that sip win is hurting us.....again I don't see how they have tougher schedule or how head to head wins don't matter

LSU with a NET rating of 113. Only Vanderbilt and Auburn below them in the SEC.
