First, the team has to get the LSU monkey off of their back and get a win on Thursday!

Also, NC State beat Louisville so no more undefeated teams in the top 10.

Agreed. The LSU game is going to be tough and physical and probably not a thing of beauty from whoever wins.

LSU has played very well in the tough SEC but got off to a slow start on the season so their NET ranking doesn't reflect how much of a challenge they will be on Thursday.

It's interesting how the AP and the Coaches polls aren't in agreement with the net rankings. I'm sure by the end of the season it will all work itself out. This week is crucial for us. We desperately need to go 2-0 with wins over LSU and Tennessee.

We have 4 tough match ups before that SC game. It would be so cool to see the SEC title come down to the last game of the regular season, though.

If SC has one more win than the Ags and we both have one loss, can we still tie for the championship? Will the Vandy game eventually be counted as a forfeit win?

The Ohio State example suggests just number of losses will be considered and head to head breaks tie.

But I was referring to WBB Div 1 NCAA tournament since there have been discussions of foregoing conference tournaments in MBB.

Right. I was just wondering and not familiar with the one you just mentioned.

The selection committee for the CFP chose Ohio State with six wins. And ND because they played more games than Texas A&M. So I chose the one that favors us most since that's what the Big Ten does.........

If we happen to win out there is no way the SEC allows SC to be the champion bc a team couldn't play as many games.
