I notice that we have no games scheduled on 2/11 and 2/14 and I am pretty sure the Vols don't either. Does anyone know if those games will be rescheduled for those dates? Back to back would be very unusual but we need those wins to have a chance to catch S.C. if we can beat them on the last game of the regular season.

Tennessee was only on the original schedule once, so only one game needs to be made up. I am pretty sure the SEC moved the A&M vs. Arkansas game to leave a date open to possibly make up the Tennessee game.

So, assuming we make up Tennessee, we will play a total of 15 conference games and S. C. will play 16 with a big win over Vandy then Vandy cancels their season and we don't get to play them. That means even if/when we beat S.C. in the last game of the regular season we still can't win conference because they will finish 15 - 1 and we finish 14-1, unless of course , they also lose to someone else.. That's crap! Their Vandy win shouldn't count!

Agree that a 14-1 finish with a win over USC and finishing second to a USC 15-1 finish does not seem fair.

A few caveats......
Not 100% sure we would have beaten Vandy, although very likely

Less sure that we will finish 14-1 with a win over USC, Road trips to Bama and Ole Miss looking tougher.
Arky, Mizzou, UT at home prior to USC are not for sure wins although we beat UK, MSU. GA and LSU by large margins at Reed.

We are capable of beating USC. Will need a good start and not get way behind. We play better in the second half in front of our bench as GB micro manages the O and the players can hear him better on that end.

If we do finish 14-1 in SEC play and 23-1 overall going to SEC tournament, we may get one of the 4 overall 2 seeds in the NCAA tournament. Heck...beat USC again in SEC tournament and end up 26-1 might get us a 1
seed. Our 2011 NC team had 5 losses...3 to bu, Duke and KState....BUT BEAT 3 NO.1 seeds,,,,bu, Stanford and ND for the National Championship!

NC Sate is the best team I have seen this year on tv. Saw part of their win over USC at USC and all of their win over Louisville at Louisville. They are tall, physical, talented and play smart.

Totally agree just not assuming 14-1 finish,,,but like our chances and agree with lack of fairness possibility with no Vandy game
