This is not directly Aggie Basketball related but the profession of referee is getting terrible. Watch this video of a 3A Round 2 matchup between Fairfiled and Whitney. I found the officiating to be an embarrassment to the College Station Chapter.

Gosh - definitely 4 or 5 charges in that mix. I have to say, high school refs are sometimes a bit sketchy. I don't have a child that plays, but our daughter cheers at varsity games and I can tell you I see a lot of the same at those games as well. Of course, our season is over now, but they did miss a lot.

didnt watch all, but the refs did a decent job calling several blocks there in the beginning. just because you can get set right before getting run over does NOT make it a charge. 4 of the first 5 were definitely blocks, and i think they called it that way.

I don't see much to be all that upset about...charges get called WAY too much at the hs and collegiate level.
