Seriously.... probably the BEST POST-GAME INTERVIEW I'VE EVER SEEN. Very emotional. Pure naked emotion- to see her so choked up over the support of her teammates, and then to credit the Spirit of the 12th Man, from a native NYC girl and transfer! just WOW!!

I have no words for how awesome she is. She is so poised and mature! We all cried with her during that post game interview! Thank you Jordan for choosing Texas A&M! Keep it going. We only get better from here!! Gig'em Aggies!!!

I'll readily admit it got pretty dusty in the room when I watched the interview live. Harder to admit it got dusty again when I called my wife in the room to watch it on replay. Or maybe my wife was cutting onions in the kitchen?

She said in her post game interview she dedicated this game to her h.s. coach David Edwards who also played for A&M He died a year ago yesterday from Covid and she said he was one of her biggest fans.
Hard to watch that and NOT get a little emotional. That's...I mean, that's what it's all about right there. What an amazing performance, moment, and interview.

That was awesome. Im glad I got to see it live. I hadnt watched any WBB this year, but I asked my google what the score of the Texas A&M game was as I was cleaning the kitchen and saw it was in overtime with 3 minutes left, just in time to tune in.

94 Chem posted this video on the Men's BB Board. It is the promotional video for David to get the Naismith award. I was stationed at Fort Bragg at the time and had no idea of his stats or ability until seeing this.. Watch the whole thing but go to the 6 minute mark to see this:

The man did it all, and the video is amazing. Very few "normal basketball highlights" of shooting a 3 pointer, etc. The vast majority is physics-defying moves to the basket, head-scratching steals, and a passing ability that I'm sure caused a few bruised noses and black eyes until his teammates learned to always be looking for the ball.
The guy was amazing. Most definitely deserving of the Solari icon.
