Gary Blair's Aggie Women vs. Vic Schaefer's Longhorn Women The Good, The Bad, and the Sad
Sunday, Dec. 5, 2021, was part of A&M Women's Basketball History in the meeting between Coach Gary Blair's Texas Aggies (#17, 8-1) and Coach Vic Schaefer's Texas Longhorns (#15, 6-1). For two men who coached together at Arkansas and Texas A&M for 15 years, sadly I never thought I'd write that sentence with the phrase "Coach Vic Schaefer's Longhorns" in it. Even sadder, the Aggies lost to Schafer's Longhorns today, at least on the scoreboard. [Photo: TAMU Athletics]
