Sadly, I don't think there's enough money in the world to get her to come here.

Gap - I understand last year was good, but that was the first time we had beaten them in years, first SEC regular season championship (first regular season championship in 15 years). We had a good season; nobody is denying that. However, prior to that we finished 3rd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 2nd, 4th, etc. Over the last 10 years we AVERAGE over 9 losses a season (if you look further it gets worse). Our program has one or two good seasons occasionally (probably dependent upon the health of the elites), but we are consistently the 3rd-4th best program in our own conference. We are thankful for GB for bringing our program out of the doldrums and into the spotlight at times, but if you think our program compares to what Dawn Staley has built then you are living in the past. Why should we not want to be the best (or top 5)? Every single year. Why is that too much to ask?

Can the next head coach beat Dawn Staley on the first meeting? How many times out of the next ten? If the goal is not at least .500 against Staley, hire her.

Blair is way under paid at 1 million a year! Pay the lady!

I don't disagree with what you are both saying. I do believe that the next head coach hired by Bjork will define what they think of the WBB program. Does Bjork swing for the fences and bring in a big name coach or does he go with the status quo and stick with KBW?

Ok - I'll agree with that; same difference for me, though. It's not a match.

I spend zero time worrying about the political aspects of sports. I doubt seriously she would find opposition from the faculty. Except envy of course…
