I was unaware that Karla Gilbert Calhoun is now the girls basketball at Bryan Rudder HS until I saw her on KBTX last night. She has been in the A&M news recently because Kayla Wells is getting close to Karla Gilbert's record of games played. I believe she holds the record for most NCAA tournament games played in at 15 with 6 in 2011, 3 in 2012, 2 in 2013 and 4 in 2014.
Her Rudder team is currently 7-5 in District 19-5A and in 3rd place so congratulations to her and hoping they make the playoffs.
