Huge news out of Starkville…SEC leading scorer, Rickea Jackson, leaving team. Hate to see kids quitting in the middle of the season, but it's the way of the portal, I guess. Certainly can't hurt our chances of getting a W when we play them next Sunday.

This would be a great pickup but our chances are very slim considering we aren't looking to be any better than Mississippi State at this point.

We are not going to be a player for any transfers or recruits until we can tell players who our head coach will be next year.

well since the season is going, it's not like she can transfer and play now anyway. It'll be next fall before she can play again, we'll have a coach by then.

Honestly I don't want a player that quits on their team in the middle of the season. I know others will disagree. I don't understand the point of shutting it down now.

If we are turning over our roster next year, we are going to be looking for lots of players that will help. Jackson has one year left and we will be looking for players - young and old.

Vic recruited her to Mississippi St. but taking a starter in the transfer portal would step on the toes of someone he has recruited to Austin.

Jackson is originally from Detroit and we currently have connections there.
