It didn't end the way any of us wanted but what a fantastic ride it's been! I've followed the women's program since I was in school in the 80's….how far we've come! Coach Blair took over when the program was at rock bottom and built a successful program that we can all be proud of! Not just the wins, but the outstanding young women who've worn the Aggie jersey and represented our great university the right way bring me great pride…young women who earned their degree and went on to successful lives. GB truly got what being an Aggie is all about and made sure his players got it, too. I'll never forget being in Indy for the Final Four….seeing our girls win the National Championship…Colson, Carter, Adams, White, Elonu, and the rest! It was euphoric seeing us knock off the big dogs, Stanford and ND! I got to speak with Carter after the SC game last week and we were reminiscing about the ND colored confetti that was dropped after we beat them….oops! Lol No one gave our girls a chance, but boy did we prove them wrong! Thanks for all the great memories Coach Gary Blair! In your words, thank you "for doing it the right way…the Aggie way!" Enjoy your retirement and I'm sure we'll see you around! Gig Em and God Bless!
