Our ladies have been in tourney many years....time to move forward and get a great coach. Hate that Big 12 Women's Tourney ended the way it did with tu confetti.

Just think where we would be if the AD would have lead properly and made a proper move to end Blair and intercept the move with Vic coming to TAMU. A winning women's team and would have not wasted what we paid Blair for at least two season. Maybe 1 million a year. Instead we are in a hole.

This year was not good. No arguments there.

Last year, we won the SEC, peaked at #2 in the nation, and were in the hunt and perhaps should have gotten a national 1 seed (ended up with a 2 seed).

And that was a single year after the tournament was canceled. Our team did their work last year. This year we just saw a lot of emotion being out poured as it the previous year caught up to them. Tough to watch but they did their best to represent us.

The hire will tell you what our intercollegiate athletics strategy is. We need top notch coaches for both basketball teams; both diamond sports, football, track and field/cross country, The question is whether we develop a strategic approach to hiring the best or essentially outsource it to BMAs to fund and figure out.

There it is again..... the BMA fantasy. That's just not how it works. There's no cigar smoke filled rooms with "BMAs" determining who the next coach of X, Y, or Z sports will be. You guys just crack me up.

Someone is just jealous that they weren't invited to the last meeting.

Pretty obvious that you don't spend much time socializing at the Astin Terminal on football or other sports big game days.

BMAs, to the extent that they exist and exert influence, are probably old timers who don't care a whole lot about women's basketball.
