Don't want Baylor on our campus for any reason.
I would like to hope we don't expand the SEC to Lubbock or Waco…either.Bucketrunner said:
Winning or losing has nothing to do with it. That university tried to deep six our move to the SEC. Let them rot.
Jenna didn't exactly have that ability what with her injury history. They tweaked their system a bit to tailor it towards their best player but still tried to get offense early in the shot clock before she got down the floor on TOs and stops. On makes you'll see the PG try to get up the floor early and attack the defense before it's set, or that's what Joni would like. Point is you don't need the big to get down the floor fast to attack in transition, and there are ways to score early in the shot clock outside of transition. That being said, there isn't a player on this roster getting down the floor slower than Jenna Staiti.aggiedrjdub said:
Honest question - I understand coach Taylor's push and score within 8 seconds mentality and then become relentless on defense. My question is this - is this the way her teams played us? I remember low scoring games. Also, their big, Jenn Staiti did she also run the floor? Seems like they got her the ball a lot but I don't remember her burning down the floor.
