I would think Joni's position on this graphic has been upgraded since this was posted. Several coaches likely on the verge of being fired.

We've lost to 3 of these teams by double digits

Here is stark reality - there are 361 Division 1 schools - in the last 24 years - 8 coaches have had control over the league by winning the NC..........41.6% were won by Geno(10).......16.6% by Kim(4)........Dawn has 12.5%(3)............Pat and Muffet have 8.2%(2ea)..........Brenda , Gary and Tara have 1 each

Geno(1985 to present), Dawn(2008 to present), Kim(Baylor 2000-2015- LSU 2016 to present) and Brenda Frese (2002 to present) are the only active coaches who have a NC. This shows there is no easy way to a championship...but it does show stability is one of the main ingredients of success.

Each year we start with 64 teams and play until we have winner. The above 8 coaches have brought home the winner for the last 24 years and of that only 4 are active today.



AND WHO WILL WE HIRE THAT'S BETTER!!!!!!!

I said that before Gary was gone we would have trouble replacing him. So those who still suggest he left too late probably just Ned to acknowledge it's hard to find a winning coach,

I think Trev stands pat because there so much change in motion in college sports. The new income which starts in '26 doesn't cover the annual internal NIL costs. He is trying to run a business and has to pay for it all and politically can't afford loans.

I don't think it's fair to say nothing will change that. A boat load of money would change that. Will we offer it? Probably not. Would he accept it. Yes.

Unofficial visits are also permitted. June 1 after sophomore year: Coaches can send electronic communications to athletes, including texts, instant messages, emails and recruiting materials.

When can college coaches make you an offer?

The Division I Women's Basketball (WBB) transfer portal window for 2025 opens on Tuesday, March 25th and closes on Wednesday, April 23rd.

• Closing Date: Wednesday, April 23rd.
• Portal Window Length: 30 days.

I like that hire for Auburn, his Norfolk State team beat Auburn and Mizzou this year and were up at halftime against 4 seed Maryland in the tournament

Yes, I think it should be a good hire for them too. I caught some of Norfolk St's game, yesterday.

Will be interesting to see how these 3 hires play out. Harper underperformed at Tenn so doesn't seem like she'll do any better at Miz. She definitely won't have the luxury of all the built-in benefits that recruiting for Tenn came with. I'm sure not sold on the Arky hire. I think Vickers might be the best of the bunch.
