This tenure has just been an absolute failure. We're in year 4 and this is the product on the floor. She's had only 4 Aggies finish their eligibility at this school and 15 ladies transfer out. She only has one high school recruit still on her roster (aside from the freshman which none have contributed this season) and this is the first season she's played. It took her 4 seasons to field a full roster, but only after she was left with 3 girls after everyone bailed on her once again.
She finished 16th out of 16 in the conference last year, yet we proudly brought her back. She threw together a team of transfers of which only a couple played meaningful minutes for their team and 5 freshman which none were ranked or are currently making an impact. She's won 11 conference games in her tenure here. Texas and Oklahoma have been in this conference 1 year and a one game and have more conference wins. She can't manage a roster, she can't coach, she can't recruit. We're just buying time for the buyout to lessen I suppose, but Trev probably keeps her around to save money for a 5th year. As of last year she was one of the top ten highest paid coaches in the country. We are no longer nationally relevant, we're an average in state team as we have lost to mid majors such as Rice, TAMU Corpus Christi, and UT Arlington.
She has sunk this program well into the ground. Everything Gary Blair built, gone. Let's just hope in a couple months we find the right coach.
