I bet Gary Blair would have absolutely thrived in this transfer portal era. He'd attract top talent and experienced players and put together some nice rosters.

Before the transfer portal was popular, His last sweet sixteen team he had 8 transfers including Jordan Nixon, Ciera Johnson, Destiny Pitts, Alexis Morris, Aaliyah Wilson, and Zaay Green to name a few.

The reason we won't fire her is that Trev isn't going to fire her because of her contract. If you fire and have someone work for less than, it wouldn't hurt as badly. Logan Lee's wife could serve as an Interim with Logan as an assistant, or vice versa. Anything better than it is right now

Nothing is going to happen during the season.
She will probably be let go after the season when her contract buyout has dropped. It is possible we might have to wait another year for the money to work.

I wouldn't be surprised if she left on her own. This can't be anything but awful for her and her family.

Trev has only ever fired one coach during the season. He fired Scott Frost at Nebraska after the football team started 1-2 on the year. My assumption is that Frost told Trev to mind his business and Trev responded. Joni won't do that. She will finish the year.
