I'll be honest, I haven't watched much women's basketball since my time in school when the team won the NC, so please bear with me...

Would the Bucky ball approach work in the women's game? Or is it so drastically different from the men's college game that the high press, high speed, high shot rate system would struggle to be successful in women's college basketball?

You will see it when we play Tennessee. These coaches and this roster could never do that, but yes, there are coaches and fans that play a similar style to Bucky.

What can these coaches do? They have proven they can't coach basketball

I think it would work. The advantage of running a pressing defense is most women can't zip it 50 feet across the court. Effectively allows you to get better zone spacing and be ready to trap, run and jump, etc.

It's a mind set. Team must have the players to execute. Coaches and Team have to embrace and foster the strategy beginning with the first practice of the season.

Watch a Tennessee game, what they're gonna do to us is probably considered a crime in most states. In the SEC tourney we had 34 turnovers against their press. If it weren't for a couple last second shots we would have had more turnovers than points. This year they're better. And we're us.

Any system will work if you have players that can execute.
I don't think we have the athletes that can compete in any system.
Joni loses all the talent we have every year so she has to start over recruiting an entire new team every year. And she isn't very good at recruiting.
Her in game coaching probably isn't that bad, she just doesn't have near enough talent on the roster.

She is getting paid top 10 money. The product is not acceptable. For all the teeth gnashing over Jimbo, this is a much more embarrassing situation.
