Both teams are 5-9 in conference. Miss State is currently predicted as a tournament team. This would be a great win for the team if we can jump ahead of them in the conference standings.

Close to consideration, win on Sunday and we are outside the bubble! Then it comes down to sec tourney wins. Ole Miss is so overrated, we can easily beat them.

Miss State plays LSU
Florida plays Georgia
Alabama plays Texas

Right now we are a game ahead of Florida and Miss State, and have the tiebreaker. So we can potentially be an 11 sec seed, possibly 10 since we are one game behind Bama who plays Texas. A 10 seed would get a very easy conference tourney matchup against Auburn.

One other thing I'll point out is, Joni has been coaching her ASS off on the sidelines. It's nice to see her engaged, yelling at the refs, and coaching the team up!

We own tiebreakers over Alabama, Miss State, and Florida. We could work our way up to a 10 seed. Get an easy first round matchup with Auburn. Then a 7/10 game against Ole Miss or Tennessee…

The path is there. Win on Sunday. A loss puts us at 13-12 with a possible rematch in the sec tourney against either Miss State or Florida
