Under contract to sell a place I own in Spring Branch, need to 1031 into something in Temple. Have talked to one remax broker, who wants buyer rep agreement which I will not do.

The place is for my dad, who turned 86 two days ago. He needs to be in a one story house within 10-20 minutes from VA hospital. Ideally, a 3/2 (minimum) with 2 car garage, under $300K. I see several possibilities on zillow?.

He has to move by Feb 1, 2022.

Do a quick search on Find an Aggie at the AFS. Just look for Temple REALTOR.

As for a Buyer's Rep agreement, it is required by many brokers. But most will let you out of the agreement if it's not a good fit between agent & client. You can also ask them to strikeout the clause that states the buyer is responsible for the commission if the seller doesn't pay.
