How long do you want to ignore this user?
I'm planning on moving forward with selling my house to Opendoor here in San Antonio. Before any agents chime in, I've met with a few and I feel good about the price OD is offering, and a quick no hassle sale is what I'm wanting right now. But I'd still like an attorney to look over everything and have no idea where to find one, so thought I'd ask on here.

I obviously will pay for services rendered, this isn't a hope that anyone will do me a favor I just need someone with availability before 12/19 as that's when my offer will expire. Chime in here or feel free to email at blackgold1310@gmail.com. Thank you!

Not a lawyer and I don't know much about OpenDoor, but in this market I'd scope out somebody like Redfin. We sold with them and they offer much more for much less. Sold in a day and no hassle! You might be shorting yourself 10-15% OR MOAR!

Appreciate the advice. I've meet with a few realtors and Opendoor's pricing is right in line with their recommendations. It was higher than one's pricing suggestion and only $7k lower than another's, who honestly didn't do much research prior to their pricing suggestion. My neighborhood also has not been nearly as "hot" as the rest of San Antonio for whatever reason.

Finally, because this involves a cross country move, I'd rather be able to schedule my closing and just have what is essentially a cash offer.

Just went and did their online "preliminary offer" thing and it was at minimum 7.5% lower than what we expect to reasonably pull in spring time.

Have they done your walkthrough already or are you still at the prelim offer stage?

This is their final offer after interior and exterior walk through.

Unfortunately I can't sit on the house until spring.

I'm sure that their offer is the typical TREC contract in addition to a huge addendum, right?

An attorney will advise you to strike the entire addendum. Opendoor will not. Now what?

I thought OpenDoor used their own contract? Either way, they aren't going to negotiate contract language with you. Also, be ready for them to inspect the house and hit you with a big repair bill/amendment to cover it (once you are bought in).

I am not one of them, but I believe there are a couple of Aggie flippers on this board that might be able to give you a more fair shake.

Good luck!
