Looking for a good home builder in DFW, even better if it's an Ag. So far I've been quoted $170-$180 a square foot by a custom home builder in the area that we really like his work that we've seen.

Just testing the waters to see if anyone has any recommendations. Looking to build a 3000-3500 square foot home on a 1-5 acre lot in north DFW. Thanks!

That seems a little low (if the lot is included in that price). Either way, Make sure you factor in all of the finishes and appliances, light fixtures, etc. Some builders will get you hooked on a house with all the options, then give you a price without all the options and then you sign and you're stuck.

As others have said, that seems low. I just built a custom house in Heath for $185 sq/ft and only because it was a unique situation.

Everything around me new build is $205-215

It's not, that's just the price of the build.
