I am looking at purchasing ~30 acres of undeveloped land that I would eventually like to build some vacation rental properties on. Would a recreational land loan be appropriate or would you recommend something else?

You need a standard land loan. Capital Farm Credit is a sponsor. Or a bank in that market.
