should I submit mortgage loan applications to more than one lender at a time without negatively impacting the process? I've been working with one for the past couple months but recently became disappointed to to lack of transparency. Issue is I'm placing an offer on a home today and using their conditional pre-approval letter. Am I too late in the game to change?

you can change and have another credit pull, unless you bought something your credit score should be in the same tier

You can submit to more than one. You may have to explain that you were mortgage shopping and didn't incur new debt. I'm a lender licensed in Texas and would be happy to be a resource if you have any questions. Not sure what is going on with the current lender but maybe it will work out. Happy to help in any l way.

You should be fine. Credit bureaus treat multiple mortgages as one pull within a certain Amount of time. I was told two weeks but others have said it's longer. I don't have the right answer but it's 'some time'.

As stated you will have to sign a letter addressing all pulls in the last 3-4 months regardless of type of credit stating you have not expanded access to credit money. I usually writes up a draft and let the client edit and sign. Done.
