Are the kitchen cabinets not functional to the ceiling? Just tried to get them there basically with large crown molding?

Haha it's not large crown molding. Previous were soffits that came out a foot or a foot and a half. So instead we went with vertical.

It looks very nice. We did a down to studs remodel on our kitchen and master bath in 2019 in Colleyville. We added real hardwood floors, and all new windows. We have 10 ft ceiling. I am short ( 5'4" ) but we just use the top for storage and seasonal. It is still a better look than cabinets that do not go to the top so kudos to you. We would love to get something nice like this for our Aggie daughter but this is just a little too pricy. She is about to get priced out of her 2 bed 2 bath Coppell apartment … price looking to go up to 2800 per month. Let me know if you have anything nice in the 350,000 price range.
