How long do you want to ignore this user?
I'm getting ready to make the move to Aggieland for a new role at the university and I'm curious to know if there are any particular complexes anyone would suggest that I stay in.

As a young professional in my 30's, I'd prefer to not be around too many students, but I would also prefer to not be in a senior living environment either haha!

I'm currently looking at SoCo and Caprock apartments but would love more suggestions!
Thanks!

Most students live south of Briarcrest Rd in Bryan, or north of Rock Prarie in College Staion. Find a spot outide of that zone and you should be fine

Honestly - I don't think you'd go wrong with either of those apartments. South College is great for a lower paced nightlife from perspective most places quiet down by 9-10PM unless gameday or occasional Fridays. Plus you're close to HEB and good shopping. Only real con I've had living in South College (Pebble Creek area) is getting Ubers/Lyfts from Northgate or other areas is a bit challenging sometimes.

Another area you might consider is University and Highway 6 on the east side near Momentum Tower. Lots of other apartments there. Easy access to Hwy 6 and Hwy 30 for getting around backways during traffic hours. Plus you're closer to the scenes of BCS vs SoCo.

Last suggestion would be Century Square as it's got lots of cool spots but it's also hotbed for not only students but game days folks and locals in between. Juanita's makes a damn fine margarita I can tell you that!

Happy to help provide any more insight or answer any questions !

SoCo and Caprock are both good. The Ranch at Arrington is also outside of the student zone.
