Example: local physician rents space in a bigger building. Physician is woke and wants to impose mask mandates but building owner doesn't. Who wins?

Owner controls common space. Lessee controls lease space. Can do what he wants so long as legal and defined in lease.

Would a parking lot and sidewalk to enter a building directly into a leased suite typically be considered shared space or part of the lessee space as it's directly in front of their suite?
