Howdy Ags! As we dredge through this slow, boring, uneventful November we here at Lochow Ranch….wait?!?! We did what?!?
With our beloved Aggies making the change at head coach and deciding to revamp the football program, I wanted to remind Texags users that Lochow Ranch Pond & Lake Management specializes in overhauling your fishery. Just like a new football coach would evaluate their roster and fill in the necessary gaps, we use a process known as an electrofishing survey.
Whether you're managing deer, cattle, or a football team being able to see and evaluate your roster is crucial. Same goes for lake management, but seeing as fish live underwater this creates a challenge.
Electrofishing allows us to bring fish to the surface so we can evaluate the status of your fishery. By seeing what's there we can make more scientific based recommendations for improvements.
