As someone with experience in real estate and a license in good standing, it angers me greatly when ranch sellers do this. I cannot for the life of me figure out how slow your business must be in that you can afford to answer "how much is it" from 200 independent potential buyers. Why do these yahoos do that? We have passed on several pretty good ranches because I simply refuse to entertain that type of behavior. Why do they do this? Wouldn't it be better to put a $2M price tag on something and weed out 75% of the people who cannot or will not buy it and not waste your time? Are these new and desperate agents? What's the purpose behind this behavior? Are they trying to manage procuring cause ?
Mostly just curious, too much land available to worry that much.
