I'm sure none of these facts are true. It just isn't possible based upon what I was assured were financial realities of Texas College Football.
1. Texas' athletic revenue grew a mighty 1.5% in 2013.
2. Texas' athletic revenue has grown 5% year over year for the last 2 years.
3. While Texas' revenue grew $2.4 Million in 2013, its expenses grew over $8.5 Million. This produced a profit decrease of $6 Million year over year.
4. Texas A&M's athletic revenue has grown over 20% in the last two years.
Old news right. Hadn't heard this till today....
5. Donations to Texas Athletics decreased in 2013 by nearly 10% compared to 2012.
That isn't a blip, people.
