Yes, Michael Scott is the perfect embodiment of A&M: largely incompetent, unproductive, unprofessional regional manager.
Yep. I understand there are lots of requests into staff to delete it. Really nothing worthwhile comes from it any longer. It's basically become a three person forum.

Thank you for posting that image of Tarleton alum James Earl Rudder. No doubt his Tarleton experience prepared him for greater challenges to come, which is why he is honored with a statue at Tarleton. In fact, before each football game, an inspirational event called Point Du Hoc (honoring his achievements during the Normandy invasion) is held to inspire the athletes to excellence.
It must work since Tarleton is now rated #3 in FCS polls and undefeated after upsetting Army at West Point this year!

I see from your post that you are a Tarleton and General Rudder aficionado. In so being you surely are aware that Tarleton was founded in 1917 as a branch of the then Texas Agricultural & Mechanical College and is a founding member of the Texas A&M University System right? In fact in 2017, the year that the Rudder statue was unveiled, (which, by the way, was funded by another Texas A&M graduate) was the 100th Anniversary celebrated on the Tarleton campus as being a founding member of the Texas A&M College System.
Continuing, as you being so knowledgeable on the matter, I am sure you are aware that General Rudder was on the Tarleton campus ( Which as stated above was a branch of the Texas A&M College) attending classes for two years ( As Tarleton was only a two year college at the time) and then transferred to Texas A&M College main campus at College Station, Texas to be able to be in the Corps of Cadets and graduated as a 2nd Lieutenant with a degree in Industrial Education in 1932. He then went into the Infantry Army Corp of Reserves until being called up for active duty in 1941.
His diploma is from the Agriculture and Mechanical College of Texas, He proudly wore a Aggie ring. His service record shows his Alma Matter as Texas A&M College.

His time at Tarleton ( being part of the Texas A&M system since its founding in 1917) then his graduation and commissioning at TAMC is non debatable. Records and his diploma show he graduated from TAMC. His time at Tarleton and TAMC does nothing but enforce that fact.

Indeed. But Tarleton was originally founded in 1899 due to a grant from a local wealthy landowner. So claim him as you will, but he was a native son of west Texas.

Well here is a geography lesson for you. The Edward's Plateau is considered the hill country region.
West Texas is considered west of that area.

Just the fact that they want to "see us" at some point. I don't ever see tech alums, or even think about them at all….if they shut their school doors tomorrow, I wouldn't even notice. There is no other logical explanation for these guys being here other than bitterness for not getting into A&M…at least that's somewhat understandable…if it's something else, then it's some kind of psychological problems that I don't even want to understand.
