Well, Utah athletics director Mark Harlan is on the committee and likely would have voted to include BYU. If you include a 3 loss Alabama team then BYU certainly (choking on my words) deserves consideration.

Joey is building a peer group by flattering byu's head coach. and obviously he'd like people to believe, since they beat byu twice, that byu is good. But byu has a freshman QB who recently looked like a deer in the headlights, and on defense the wildcats tackle poorly.
