I bought a TourTrek travel bag from Golfsmith 10ish years ago and it's time to replace. Think I paid $80-100 for it new. Not opposed to spending more for one that will last longer, but I don't travel with clubs a ton, so not sure I want to spend $250+ like some of them cost these days. Any good experiences or suggestions out there?

I'm traveling right now... And my bag is checked in. Was telling Mrs how my GB travel bag has lasted over 20 years and it has more miles than most travel bags...I have the black one but it's held up. In my estimation, it has more than 50 round trips typically cross country.

Club glider by sun mountain

Best travel bag I've had

Club glove was great but club glider makes is 10x easier/lighter to wheel around.

Been to Hawaii and Europe multiple times...zero issues

How's the padding on it? I have an Ogio that's ok. It's held up fine but I always worry when I travel with it.

Club glove here. I have only owned it 3 months and 3 trips, but it feels very solid.

Previously had tourtrek that last about 25 trips over 2 years. A wheel fell off and the bottom support came unstitched.

I am in the market for a travel bag for my daughter. It will be well used by the time it is said and done, is Club Glove still the go to?

Club glider that previous poster suggested
Just came home last night with 3 of us traveling with clubs. One has mizuno bag with 2 wheels.... Pita
Meanwhile wife and I could move our club gliders around with one finger.... Literally
We always get asked about them when we travel

Anyone thinking the Clubglider does something the Club Glove doesn't isn't doing it correctly.

I take my rolling suitcase and attach it to the Club Glove golf bag as shown and roll everything using one hand.

that certainly is nice and a good way to do it. SHOULD work with any type of suitcase. size might be a factor though.
Plus depends on whos traveling with what. For example, this trip with my wife for 10 days and she packed a TON (don't they all!!). No way would stacking 2 bags work. Instead, one rolled with one finger and the other was easily rolled as well. Dodging crowded airports no problem.

a somewhat related travel tip...to help protect your clubs even more, particularly driver, do NOT buy those club protector sticks......just use a shower curtain rod. easily adjusts to height of driver and fits in bag easily and light

I've connected a rolling carry on, checked bag and golf clubs. Works great!

Really in the market for a travel bag. Those that have a ClubGlider, other than the price, is there a difference between the Journey, Meridian, or Tour Series? Thanks

We only have the one model (pro) so can't comment on differences first hand. I THINK it's just slight difference in capacity and maybe material
It's likely not much at price difference aren't much either for the to 3 bags while the cheapest is going to be the biggest difference in space
