I went last year and a couple years prior. Getting the family green light for another trip for a practice round isn't going to fly. Especially when I'm also about to go to Bandon.

Flat out, I would like to buy them. Sam is playing and as a Traditions member, I guarantee I could get four of us to go and support him. Send me a Private Message.

We'll be there Friday for my first time. Plan to walk all 18 but would be great to follow Sam for a while too.

We're at Traditions too and I comment to most who ask that that kid is there almost every time I am; like a gym rat but for golf.

Masters week is the best ever. The sporting highlight of my year. Heck, maybe it's the best week of the year period. That being said, I turned down an invite and a ticket for all four days this year. I have never been, but I'm not as young as I use to be. Somehow age has changed me from thinking it was my ultimate bucket list event, to thinking being home watching on T.V. with the bar b q pitt fired up is a much better experience. I will take off work Thursday and Friday for the full effect. Draft a few teams on DraftKings, do some work in the yard, and then just cook all kinds of stuff and watch golf for four days. I just wish DraftKings had Sam on their contestant list. ...Surely I'm not alone on this. I take great pride on almost getting a divorce and fired from my job every year during the masters !

Just how old a fella are you ?? Four days AT the Masters vs. grill at home and take off from work ?

My bucket list for the Masters is hopefully at least one practice round and you had a four day pass ?

Trying to wrap my head around that……

You can do both. Get a chair and set up at #2 green. I like the right side pretty close to the sand trap. When Sam comes through follow him for as long as you want, but LEAVE YOUR CHAIR where you are set up.

When you have followed Sam for as long as you want, come back to 2 green and your chair will still be there. There might be an older person sitting in it because he/she is spent, but they will gladly get up.

Get there early and once all groups have come through #2 (so you will have seen every player then) you can walk the course and follow whomever you want.

Before too long go to the bleachers to the right of 15 green and sit on the end where you can see all of #16. If you are by yourself helps. A single can find a seat fairly easily. Sit there for the rest of day watching approach shots to 15, turn to your right and watch #16, and if you are far enough up in the bleachers, you might be able to turn around and watch players tee off on 17.

When the last group comes through, follow them the rest of the way in. When they putt out on 18 go to the practice tee until someone comes up, taps you on the shoulder and tells you that you MUST leave because they are locking the gates.
