Well, my luggage made it from nonstop east coast to CA but the golf clubs didn't even make it on to the plane yesterday. Had a round this AM so got a rental set but needed new pairs of shoes (was hoping they had G-fore or high end FJ) but ended up with a pair of addidas. Also needed some balls (2 dz proV1 just in case I lose many balls), tees and some winter gloves. About $230 spent.

Guess who has to pay... American Airlines. I will also bill them for lost bets. I told them I will but AA said they probably won't cover the lost bet.

Well, played like crap but oh wells...

I had a buddy do this on our last trip to Phoenix. He bought Oakleys, range finder, shoes etc. They wouldn't reimburse him for half of it. He fought it but not sure what final result was
Im looking for Ray Finkle.... and a clean pair of shorts. Im just a very big Finkle fan. This is my Graceland, sir.

Well.... I don't keep shades and ranger finder in the bag when I travel... and even I think that's kinda pushing the limits..

I certainly think there are things that go outside the limits. However my argument to the airline would be you're the one who lost my baggage and these were essential items for my trip that you lost therefore you are paying for them.

No dude...we all know Top-Flite Strata spun more than them balatas....old new technology.

Fellas behind the counter were much older than me and they'd known what balata is.

We used to put balata balls in vice in the cart barn and drill holes in them until they sprayed balata all over the place

Um, balata is what the cover was made of. The small core in the center beneath all of the rubber bands was just a non-toxic liquid.
