Honest question, is it ok to have iron covers when we travel with your clubs if you immediately take them off, even before taking the clubs out of the travel bag?

I currently do this just so TSA doesn't mess them up with their careful handling of them.

I hit them all.

The 221 were a touch to bladey for me and I am not that good, 8 hdcp.
Thee 225 were nice but way to strong and I would be bending them all. 7i is like 30* versus 35* currently. PW also was 4-5* stronger thus wedge gapping would be off.

Honest response.

I'd be using iron covers on those irons all the time to protect them from getting nicks. Only takes few seconds take off and put them on. Nothing wrong with that.
