I'm contemplating selling my Scotty, but can't figure out what a good listing price is. I'm seeing them go for anywhere between $250-300 on eBay. Is it simply name recognition of being a Scotty or is there something of significance I'm missing with this putter?

Condition is very important. Mint will fetch a premium, but there's a nice floor if it's just in ok condition bc people will buy to refinish.

If it's mint, list it near higher comps.

The condition of the club matters a lot on valuation. Specifically any nicks on the top line or face of the club. Condition of the shaft band can influence value as well if it's one of the more attractive editions of the Newport 2. You have any pictures?

That model is definitely more sought after than the more current iterations.

GSS is marketed by Titleist as Scotty's best putter materiel, so I'd think you can get around $300 on golfwrx.

Can they be sent in to get redone? I have one that's in very rough shape that I'd like to get fixed up.

I just cleaned up one I got for a song on ebay.

They can easily be redone, but if you like doing things yourself, you can sand out any dents, get someone to re-mill the face, and then bead blast a stock like finish on it. Then you can paint fill however you like.


I haven't re-milled or beadblasted this one yet, but just did a brushed finished and filled it to see if I liked it.
