This may be a stupid question but does Sam get to play in the other majors since he won the US amateur? Or was the masters the only one he gets to play in?

I know he gets to play the US open and British open, I think he's in the PGA but I'm not 100% on that one

He isn't in the PGA. He also would be in the US Am if he wanted to defend but no expects him to do that.

I thought he was in for all 4 majors, but as said above, not sure about PGA.

As long as he keeps his amateur status he's in the British and the US. And he will.

Just still kills me that if he 2 putts 15 and makes that little dinker on 16 he goes back to Augusta next year. Still a hell of a showing and maybe he can punch his way back in

He gets to compete in the US Open regardless of if he turns pro or stays Am. The Open, he needs to be an amateur. It'll come down to whether he wants to start earning his card or playing in The Open as an Am.

Is it correct that had he won the only prize for him would have been lifetime exemption? Zero winnings at all?

Correct. And I would guess the reason he is remaining an amateur is so he can play in the Open

Did it appear to y'all that he was pissed at Kortan for misreading the putt on 16?
What happened off 18 tee, since he was hitting 3 into green?
As said above, kills me too, with those and terrible lag uphill on 15 would get him 2024 invite.

How does College golf work with NIL? Is Sam eligible for that? How are his expenses covered for the Masters and any other professional tournaments he plays in? I can only imagine the amount of money that cost.

The biggest reason is so he can play with his teammates through the NCAAs although that trip to Augusta didn't hurt.

He's going to try to win the NCAA with his team and as an individual. Then he is done.

He was asked in one of the pressers basically "how do you feel about the fact that if you were pro you'd be taking home a pretty decent paycheck this week" and he said (paraphrasing) "Well, NIL has been pretty good to me here lately so I'm ok." He had Ping and several other logos on his hat/shirt so I imagine he has made some decent NIL coin lately.

Yes, he has done pretty well so far with NIL, and that's only going to get better after this weekend.

Thanks. Good good to know he's able to get some cash coming in. He'll definitely pick up some more NIL sponsorship after this weekend.
