Texan Jimmy Walker leading right now at -12. Good to see him playing well again. Would love for him to win the tournament. The dude was nails before he started dealing with the Lyme Disease.

They need to toughen up some of these courses for these tournaments. A top 3 of 12, 9 and 9 under after the 2nd day means the course is too easy for the pros. These courses don't need to be US Open conditions but at least make them a little bit of a challenge for those guys.

The weather is good today at Harbour Town so scores will be low for several players. Harbour Town is not a long golf course by PGA Tour standards and is a classic seaside golf venue. So with some recent moisture, good weather conditions and a shorter golf course, that is a formula for some low scores today.

True. That's another course I wish they would toughen up a little in ways that don't include making it longer. I just like seeing those guys challenged and having to grind. That's why I love the US Open so much.

I disagree to an extent. I like courses that reward good play but penalize bad play. Augusta is that course. On some greens your landing area is a 5x5 square. If you hit that you should be rewarded with a good look at birdie. But if you miss often times you will struggle to make par.

My one complaint about the US Open is that good shots are sometimes penalized just as much as bad shots. I think there is a fine line between tough playing conditions and unfair conditions.

I disagree completely about harbor town. While it isn't long, or us open condition it can still be a tough course if you aren't hitting it straight. It's super narrow and if you aren't in the right spot on the fairway you have no chance at birdie. It's a great course because it rewards the players who are striking the ball excellent and it opens up the field so much which is why it has produced so many random winners over the year.

People here been *****ing so much about LIV and constantly making the case that the PGAT is so great because of the underdog wins and players fighting for your cards, etc. well here is the week for it as evident by Jimmy Walker who was basically out of pro golf in contention for a career changing win for him.

Like you said, Harbor Town is great because it is a course where the bomber is somewhat neutralized. US Opens might have higher scores but they are set up to reward bombers and not shot makers and like was said above, luck can play a major part in the outcome (though not as much as The Open).

Both putts by Spieth looked like they were going in. Second one took a 45 degree turn right in the last six inches. Crazy.

Good for Fitzpatrick though. Great showing.

Yeah I like Fitz a lot. Great swing. Now that he can hit it longer I could see him being around for a couple more majors.

Jordan will say he hit great putts that didn't go in, but in reality he didn't hit either putt with enough pace. You gotta bury straight putts in the back of the cup and quit trying to drip this in.

Shocked that he has made it as far as he has without reaching out for excellent advice from those watching on tv.
