Anyone have a good golf travel company they can recommend or is it best to book directly with Pebble? Looking at April 2024 for 60th. Also welcome any other suggestions. We would like to play Pebble, Spyglass, Spanish Bay and Del Monte. Two golfers plus spouses.

Just call the resort. That's what they do. They will set up rooms, tee times and dining reservations. Only thing you'll need is the flight there.

So I looked into this and the resort is awesome

Just enter info online and what you are looking for. A real person called me back within a day and went over everything, booking, resort, tee times etc.

Doesn't matter it seems in your case but it's a three night min at the resort to play pebble and to Book far out in advance. The really make it easy besides the price of everything of course.

Agreed…go through the resort. Also, FWIW, suggest passing on Del Monte…make the short drive to Pasa Tiempo in Santa Cruz if you can make it work.

Don't waste your time with Del Monte. It's outside of Pebble Beach and a total muni. But do play Poppy Hills. It's in Pebble and a better course than Spanish. Some will argue it's better than PB. Spy is the best course.

And a lot of money.

There are direct flights to Monterey from DFW and PHX. Very convenient. Uber and Lyft are dicey tho.

The resort picked us up and dropped us off. That was in 2020 though.

We actually just got back Sunday from doing this exact same thing. We had twelve and just booked through the hotel. We got a call back that same day and they were incredibly helpful and made everything easy. Even worked with us to set up all airport transportation and back to back tee times. They also have a good deal with Avis for 30% off if you did want to rent a car and will have it brought to the resort.

We started in Napa so we flew into San Fran but the people doing just the golf portion flew into Monterey for the exact same price and saved themselves an extra two hours and an expensive rental car. Pebble also has free shuttles to Monterey they will coordinate.

We played Spanish, Spyglass, the Hay for fun and then Pebble. All were fantastic and as expected but the Hay was actually an incredibly fun way to spend a couple of hours. We played it the same day as Pebble. There usually aren't a lot of people on so they let us all just play the nine holes together and everyone just gambles and drinks.

And on that note, given that this will be an expensive trip, would you use Ships Sticks (at least to Pebble), knowing that I may be taking a flight with a plane change? Hate to lose clubs in transit. I am looking at direct flights.

I've heard stories of ship sticks losing clubs. I wouldn't on a direct flight. Maybe on a plane change.
