Probably doesnt deserve it's own thread, but after 2.5 years of playing I finally broke 90. Shaky start but went 46/42. Goal for the year is to do it 3 times. Time to have a drink and watch the Stars!

Congrats! Golf is fun from 80-90. Consistently shoot any higher or lower and it becomes frustrating. My opinion of course

I agree with this. The occasional round in the 70s become gold. With that said, I shot 90 Saturday and it was pretty frustrating. F-ing chipping tips.

Read this when you posted it and thought to myself that I'd never score anything below 90. Last time I played was at La Cantera and the back 9 tore me apart. Ended up shooting a 105. Went out today by myself and shot an 85 from the middle tees. Lots of bogeys, a birdie and a couple of pars in the mix.

Felt good but now I just need to carry it over to this weekend when I play with a few buddies so they'll believe me.

I have almost been playing for a year now--started seriously in June 22.

I was walking up to the 17th at Clear Creek a few weeks ago after Par on 4 straight holes with a chance to be at 91 if I kept the par streak going. My PB is 98 at Pecan Grove.

Long story short, totally melted down the last two holes and tied my PB--shouldn't have tallied the score.

Anyway, I hope I join you soon OP, I am flirting with breaking 90 a bit if I can keep my iron game together.

I have been playing a year (about 15-20 rounds of 18) and have never made a birdie yet.
