Interesting concept but from a quick look at the website you would just be throwing money away. I know that for most people who invest, money may not be the main motivating factor. But you should at least have a decent chance to get your money back or make some money.
But in this model you only get 15% of revenue back. And the big kicker is that you only get revenue back for tournaments with a purse over 1.5 million. So they could dominate the lower tours and make it to the pga tour and you wouldn't get a dime back. They could be winning korn ferry events and you still wouldn't get a dime back. That's a joke.
Plus, the time horizon is only four years. That's very short depending on where these players are. If they are starting at the bottom, then it's almost impossible to make it to pga tour and make money in 4 years. If they are already on korn ferry, then that timeline is more realistic (I know nothing about these players). But I don't think there is normally s timeline like that when players get private backers.
