Local Bryan Aggie here. I have three long time friends and we get together every few months to play golf. It is my turn to host our game in July. I've played Pebble Creek numerous times in tournaments but I'm not a member. I think it is the best course here in B/CS besides Marimont but that is not an option. Is there any way or any chance I could get a round approved. We are retired and could play on a weekday early or late.

If you have any advice or you know someone who might help me please drop a note.

I'm class of '70, another Ag class of '89, an Arizona State Sun Devil and another friend whose school shall remain nameless here. I know, I know but he is a cool guy.

I'm not a member at PCCC.

In your shoes, I would call and inquire with the Pebble pro. I've found them to be friendly in the past when Chad Barrum was the pro and more recent with the new guy whose name escapes me.

In lieu of that, if you play any course with some regularity, enough to be "known" there in the pro shop, ask them to call on your behalf.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear you find success with one of those approaches.

The reason I add that last bit, is it's been awhile since I've hosted a 4some and not sure if I'll have to tag along or if they're fine with you playing unaccompanied.
