If any of you are ever in the area Monument Shadows in Gehring Ne is a beautiful little public course that backs up to the national monument. Greeens , fairways, tee boxes all in pristine condition. They hosted Nebraska high school golf tournament earlier this year. All this for about $40 a round with cart. And except in the early morning it doesn't get a lot of play so if you are ever in the area- do it. The town is pretty boring with fairly mundane restaurant offerings.
