Playing this weekend with my 9yr old. I'm obviously not expecting much but what is it really like?

Google maps looked really rough, but I'm specifically going there just to take time playing with my son and play an organized game instead of just hitting on a range or into a net.

Will be interested in the feedback. Never been but curious.

Touching back, I was pleasantly surprised with the course. It appears majority of the course isn't irrigated so it was obviously ridiculously dry but the ground wasn't cracked so that was good. The greens were in "great" shape all things considered.

Son and I played at 2 because I wanted the cheaper price and others away so he could take his time, he's 9 and couldn't care less about being hot.

I'd say only part that was a bit negative was the tee boxes were 50/50 dirt and super dry so it was hard for him to push a tee, I played with just irons
