for golf but we do for baseball?

I was taught that the lead hand (L for RH golfer) should be the only one actually gripping the club. The other hand is just there to follow along. You need a good grip on both hands for baseball.

Also in golf feel is important so the glove on both hands detracts from that. Not so much in baseball.

I started playing golf when I was 12. My dad taught me how to play and a glove was a luxury we could not afford. When I got out on my own and could afford to buy a glove it just felt so awkward I never got used to it. I sweat a lot too but it doesn't seem to affect my game.

Neither does Lucas Glover! Hasn't hurt him in the last two weeks!

Glove will have no effect on this blower. In 2 to 3 months, I will be carrying it. Evidently our head pro carried a blower last fall.



I know you don't get out much but here below is a Tulip Poplar tree. You won't be putting through the millions of seeds flown off from these trees let alone all the leaves.

Will see... about half the greens are affected by leaves. Will be interesting to see how many members will carry the blower this fall.

same here - i cannot wear a glove b/c my grip is too strong. i rip all gloves i put on within 18 holes.

when it is hot i use tape on certain fingers.

Aaron Rai is the only guy on the tour wearing 2 gloves. Looks odd but if it works for him so be it. I carry a rosin bag to help grip on my ungloved hand. I have also dipped my hand in ice or cold water.

I putt with my glove on. Which means the left glove stays on for 5 hours in the sun. This time of the year, I have a pearly white left hand and copper tone brown right hand if you can imagine. It's a funny sight in a meeting with my suit on with white left hand and brown right hand.

Sunblock isn't enough. Borrowing from my memories playing in the rain with rain gloves on both hands, I actually like gloves on both hands. So I've tried it last 5 rounds or so and I think I will stick with it.

This stuff works wonders for non glove hands in the summer heat.

I apply once before teeing off and then 1/2 more times per round and it's great.

Now a must have in my bag

I don't wear gloves either. Golf is a feel game. Golf with gloves is like sex with a condom……..where's the feel?

On a side note, after getting hit in the hand by a pitch, I actually wore a cricket glove on my left hand while batting, since it was sore for weeks.

I do now. Last summer, I was out hitting balls and felt the sweat was negatively impacting my swing. I tried out 2 gloves, started getting better results, and now that's what I do.

I'm curious (and I ask this of everyone who has posted on this thread) do you clean your grips regularly? Soap, water, and a soft wire brush can make a huge difference.

So many people I play with complain about their grips and when I look at them, they're sweaty, dirty, and slick.

I wash them every few rounds. More importantly, I use light rain gloves from Amazon. And wash them with laundry every 3 rounds or so. They're cheap, durable and last.

Same here. The more my hands sweet the more the rain gloves work

I've been using these for about 2-3 years. I think I bough a five pack twice or so. I recently threw away 2 gloves but no major damages. I just wash em every so often it's like new.

My reason is more due to eczema. But yeah I'll never wear a leather glove again. The fabric rain ones are fantastic
